Associate Counsellor

Having obtained my Diploma in Counselling at Salford University I have been Counselling in a variety of G.P’s practices and medical centres. For the last five years I have been working with victims of crime and domestic violence
as a counsellor for the organisation Victim Support. I have also been the school counsellor at a high school in Salford for two years. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, which means I am
bound by a strict code of professional ethics.
With over six years’ of counselling experience, I have developed a style of counselling which, I am told, offers a high level of warmth and support. My role is not to judge you, but to work closely with you whether that involves relaxation
techniques to help with anxiety or to employ more creative methods to tackle specific problems. My counselling is easily tailored to your individual needs and goals.
If jargon is your thing, you’ll be interested to know I am mainly a person centred Counsellor but can offer my client’s CBT work as well.

I am a Reiki Master. I came upon Reiki accidently, but once I learnt about its benefits and saw, first hand, the qualities it has,
I was blown away. My aim is to educate people about Reiki and to use it to help heal peoples mind and body.

Reiki means universal life force energy.

It treats the whole person, including emotions, mind and spirit. As such, it can transform your life, whether you are looking to increase your inner peace, restore your energy or harness your inner power.

Reiki, by also treating the body itself, is an alternative form of medicine which can be used for everyday complaints as well
as chronic conditions and when recuperating from illness or surgery.

A one hour session costs £25. The first session also includes a free 30 minute consultation prior to treatment.
