Celebrating 5 wonderful years in Whitefield

Back in 2008, in the height of the credit crunch, a few therapists were tired of working for agencies that had so many rules and regulations, they decided to work for themselves and open a collective therapeutic company. Of course many frowned on us and thought we were crazy, who would pay for counselling when money was so tight! As they say in the movies 'If you build it, they will come'.

We believed in what the counselling process could provide. As we knew, that if you're battling with issue's that you cannot cope with, you're best organic option is to look for support and empathy from a qualified therapist. So back in September 2008 we opened our doors to the general public, our first office was in Prestwich, and then after 14 months we move to Whitefield. After looking at many offices which didn't feel were right, we viewed our Whitefield office, which at first viewing we knew it was the one. Apart from it being a light and comfortable room, just off the main hallway, which guarantees privacy, we also knew how important it is that our office should be easy to find, and easy to travel to. Situated just over the road from Whitefield metro station, (which is obviously handy if you don't drive), and over the road from Morrison's Whitefield, which has a free car park for two hours. We also realised that we were situated between Manchester and Bury on the main road to both.

The past 5 years we have spent working in Whitefield have been a joy and revelation. Apart from our office being rarely quiet, we have also hosted many meetings, both Professional and Personal Development groups, and introduced supervision to the corporate sector. We believe that our Whitefield office has attracted so many opportunities for 4TherapyUK, along with new therapist and clients alike.

Whitefield is a lovely place to work, with many cafe's, restaurants and small parks, were you can take a walk or just chill out on a sunny day. We look forward as our business grows to taking on more offices in Whitefield.
