Confusion
Who Are You Actually? 😊
Have you ever stopped mid-week — mid-life even — and thought...
Is this really me?
Not dramatically. Just quietly. A little whisper that something doesn't quite fit.
Maybe you've been so busy being what everyone else needed — the strong one, the reliable one, the one who holds it all together — that somewhere along the way you lost track of who you actually are underneath all of that.
It happens more than you think.
I sit with people every week who are successful, capable, loved — and completely confused about what they actually want. What they actually believe. Who they actually are when nobody is watching and nobody needs anything from them.
We spend so much of our lives performing versions of ourselves. The work version. The parent version. The version that shows up at family events and says everything is fine.
But which one is real?
Bob Proctor said most people are not living their dreams because they are living their fears. I'd add — some people aren't living their dreams because they've never been given the space to figure out what those dreams actually are.
That space? That's what therapy is for.
Not to tell you who to be. Never that.
But to help you strip away everything you've been told to be — and find out what's been there all along.
That person is worth meeting. 💛
