Sorry for myself

Feeling Sorry For Yourself

You missed out. You got passed over. Life dealt you a bad hand again. And now you're sat there, replaying it, building a case for how unfair it all is.

Self-pity feels comforting at first. It excuses you from acting. It lets you stay still while blaming everything outside yourself.

But it's a trap. The longer you sit in it, the smaller your world gets. Friends pull back. Opportunities pass you by. And the story you're telling yourself becomes the only story you can see.

Feel the disappointment. Acknowledge the unfairness. Then ask yourself one question: what can you actually control right now?

That's where your power lives. Not in the unfairness. In the next move.

Stop performing the role of victim and start writing a different script.
