Your Thoughts Are Not Always True. Honestly. 😊

You think it. So it must be real. Right?

Wrong.

Your brain is not a facts machine. It's a pattern machine. It finds evidence for whatever you already believe — good or bad.

Tell yourself you're not good enough for long enough and your brain will find proof everywhere.

That's not truth. That's a habit.

CBT — one of the tools I use — is brilliant at catching those thoughts and asking one simple question.

Is that actually true?

Usually it isn't. 💛
